Controversy

There is actually no evidence that Chief Seattle spoke this speech. There are multiplle sources about this speech, but they are also in numerous versions.  Unless there is one definite source, there will continue to be controversy on Chief Seattle's speech for years to come.

The speech is considered to have been a moving, yet terrifying one.  He spoke this in a way that he wanted everyone to understand him and to not forget this.

Basically, I believe that the two major themes of this would be:  culture and racism.  Today, people throughout this country, and possibly around the globe, criticize others about the color of their skin, their religion, and........well, anything that comes to mind.

Campus Transportation is a monumentous factor for all individuals on campus. Actually, let's expand this. The entire USA has problems with transportation. The gasoline fumes ruin the ozone layer. A 2007 source states that approximately 1/3 of all Americans are breathing in unhealthy amounts of ozone pollution, which has the possibility of causing lung/heart disease to multiple people. One way to reduce this kind of chaos would be to find alternative sources of power. This could still get the drivers to drive around regularly, as well as not hurt the people and the surrounding environment. Another way would be to find an alternate way of transportation: walking. It produces yourself to be healthier, but the main idea is that others won't suffer from air pollution.

God, i HATE the word corsage.  it sounds the combination of a massage and a corpse. speaking of massages, i want 1 right now. Right now, i also want 2 make a mental note 2 myself: why did Dr. Hill "billy" Taylor (hahahaha!! :) ) right S.S.O on the board? i think its suppose 2 b  S.O.S.  but why would he need help? im the 1 who needs help!!........i wish i bought another cookie.

huh, he erased the S.S.O. guess he knew he wasnt right. he's writing our names on the board. im not a genius, but, personally, i think we know what our names are........at least i think he's writing our names on the board. cant really tell. messy handwriting.

We can all agree that today's envronment is not what it used to be.  But even hundreds of years ago in the past, the environment was better thanwhat it is like during the present time, but it was still not great.  For example, during wars, like the Revolutionary War, soldiers would use the trees as shelter and protection from the enemy. In battle, the environment would also be taking damage. The wildlife would continue to decrease throughout the years.  This example is just one of many, many others in the world.
